“Vacancy: Operations Attendant”
Reports to Fitness and Gymnastics Coordinator
Job Summary
Responsible for providing courteous and professional services to all guests within the Fitness Recreational Centre.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet all guests in a pleasant, cheerful and courteous manner; escort/direct them to the Trampoline or Sports area while ensuring their colour coded tags are for the right time and activity.
• Assists guests with their sports gear/kits on arrival and ensure they are properly stored in the lockers and locked.
• Communicates all jump/play area rules to guests and ensure that they are adhered to at all times.
• Clearing all balls (dodgeballs and soccer balls) from the play area after each game session; also ensuring that all timers, whistles etc are properly stored and locked up.
• Give guests brief information about the fitness / recreational centre and specifically about the play/jump area they are going to; and ensure that all Out of Bound areas are not accessed by guests.
• Carry out random daily customer satisfaction surveys with the feedback forms and ensure that their responses are properly captured and submitted to the Sales Executive or Brand Manager.
• Relay all guests’ complaints to the Admin Officer and follow up to ensure prompt resolution. File incident reports where necessary.
• Ensure that all electrical appliances are turned off at the end of the day.
• Make sure all misplaced items are properly recorded and stored; with a report of all items found submitted to the Admin Officer.
• Maintains constant surveillance of all guests in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to
secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
• Adhere strictly to professional statutory and regulatory requirements in the use of tools and safety requirements.
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed by the Building Service Manager. Helps maintain a clean and safe arena.

• Inquisitive mindset with willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• High degree of diligence, commitment and good self-hygiene.
• Availability nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
• Ability to work quickly, methodically and with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to move around & stand for at least a full eight (-hour shift, without difficulty.
Qualification
Minimum of O’ level certificate in WASSCE or NECO.

• Good grooming and professional outlook.
• Must be sporty
• Very good customer service and people management skills.
• Good crisis/conflict management skills.
• Very good attention to detail skills.
• High degree of diligence, commitment and good self-hygiene.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and take initiative.
• Must be conversant with hazard spotting and emergency procedures.
• Must not be older than 30 years old.
• Must reside around Lekki and its environs

I worked there 4 just one month and got fired the next month for no know reason.
