Most times when marketers take over a marketing project, they tend to continue where the previous marketers left off. Going through the same processes and often ends the same way as the previous campaign.

Some marketers often assume the client company is rendering the proper service, or running an organized business model.
“How do we sell this?” becomes the primary focus of all within the organisation. Truth be told, you can’t sell a flawed
product or service no matter how good your marketing skills are.

Whenever you take up a new marketing job, always keep this in mind:

Start From The Beginning:

Change is a constant thing, it’s important to always review your client's service, product or business model. “Does this still apply?”
“Is this the right product for this market?” “Should they narrow down their service to serve a specific niche” “Are the users
really interested in this?”

Following this basic rule would help you see the bigger picture, and help scale your marketing campaign overtime. Consider
this zen proverb:

"Return to the earth now if your mind is troubled, and your heart is uncertain. For it is by returning to the beginning that we
can clearly see the path." - Zen Proverb

Always start from the beginning.
