The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to rig the governorship and House of Assembly elections in Lagos State.

The PDP also said that the APC is planning to unleash violence if its governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode loses the election.
The allegations were made on Thursday, April 9, 2015 by the Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani.

Gani said that the APC was planning to use some persons who would impersonate National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, security agents and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) personnel to rig the elections.

“These persons will wear the uniforms of youth corps members, various security agents and be present as official INEC electoral officers. The APC has concluded plans to deploy these impersonators to identified polling units where the official INEC officers, security agents and corps members will be compromised to concede their functions,” Gani alleged.

The governorship and State House of Assembly elections are slated to hold across Nigeria on Saturday, April 11, 2015.

They should also bear in mind that the 42% recorded in the presidential is the sum TOTAL of votes cast by the SE, SS and YORUBA supporters and this election the SS don't have nay horse in this race, seems they didn't learn from past experience, divisive campaigns and propaganda work like karma....

APC's winning margin will also be wider than that of the presidential.

They no nothing about political calculation. Any one thinking tinubu will lose lagos for pdp is just wasting his or her time. They started the blame again. The voting pattern will worse than what Jonathan got last 2 weeks.
Why are they even complaining? Since it worked in rivers state, why won't it work in lagos? No one has monopoly to rigging. It will do jk like film trick. Go and ask segun adewale and ade dosunmu, PDP continuous failure candidates. Segun adewale failed under pdp for the fifth time upon his intimidation and his battalion of rogues.
But I believe apc will still beat pdp in lagos without even rigging. Jk we know in ajegunle and alaba. Not in lagos entirely. He was using those marauders without pvcs to get sympathy votes not forgetting that the northerners are as much as the south Easterners dem in lagos, talk of apapa, agege, yaba, ijora and the likes, they are more than enough with pvcs and they are not beating their chests .

Their best results in lagos will be the last presidential one. No more dollars again.
