Nigeria's U23 national team landed in Lusaka on Friday monrning ahead of their crucial final qualifying round, second leg clash of the All African Games with hosts Zambia.

The game will take place on Sunday.

Coach Samson Siasia led 18 players with assistant coaches and backroom staff to the Zambian capital after flying via Kenya Airways to Lusaka enroute Nairobi from Abuja on Thursday.

The Nigerian delegation headed by the Deputy Secretary General and technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme had on hand the officials of the Nigerian Embassy led by the Consular Officer, Shuaibu Ali to recieve the team.

The Nigerian contingent who have secured accomodation at their Golden Peacock Hotel, Lusaka, lamented the absence of the Zambia FA to recieve the team.

Samson Siasia will take out his wards for their first training session at about 2.30pm Nigerian time on Friday.

Nigeria's Olmpyic team are faced with an uphill task after recording a 0-0 draw in the first leg played in Abuja on March 22.

The winner of Sunday's encounter will qualify for the men's football category at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazaville, Congo in September.
