Why Do Men Patronize Prostitutes? by Haykay80(m): 1:06pm On Apr 20, 2015
Prostitution is one of the oldest occupations known to man. Lets find out why men have patronized these women till date.

Dating back till biblical times, Prostitution is one of the oldest professions known to man. As much as many people around the world frown on it as a profession, a good number of men still patronize these 'Jaded' women,' spending a good amount of their income on them to get sexual release.

As much as sex is a basic necessity of any human being, procuring it from a woman who has had multiple encounters with other men, increasing the chances that she might have an STD or deadly disease, still baffles many.

Could it be just the need for sexual release, the thrill of having an unknown lady in one's bed, or an addiction?

Lets hear the opinion of people on why the think men still patronize prostitutes today.

There are different reasons why men patronise prostitute

1. Low self esteem
2. Crazy sex drive
3. No strings attached, no nagging, no headaches - Some men dont just want those relationship headaches
4. Ways to move on after a serious heartbreak
5. lack of self control
6. Affordability (some areas goes from as low as 200 naira)
7. Shyness because you wont have to talk much

i am Totally against men patronising prostitutes.

Contrary to public opinions, Prostitutes are actually cleaner (healthier) than most girls,
1. A prostitute wont allow you go with her without a condom or use your own condom
2. You cant release into a prostitute so there wont be any form of fluid discharge so there is basically no skin contact,

During my service year, my CDS went around town to do free HIV screening test, went to several locations like brothels, schools and streets. After that my mindset changed, the so-called decent girls are more infected than the prostitutes. why? The assumed normal girls spread their legs and have it raw, while the prostitutes are highly professional and health conscious. The so-called girlfriends trust more or simply lousy about the strict usage of condoms.

Not all men!

Men have insatiable desire for sexual pleasure naturally. The only way to stay on top of that is to master the art of self-control.

Men like adventure too.
