Indigenous singer, 9ice in a recent interview with Notjustok, has reacted to criticisms about his cracked voice.


The Alapomeji Ancestral Records boss admits that he’s truly lost his voice, saying he began singing at 28 and now that he’s 35, his voice has to change.

He also put the blame on the recording equipment available in the country.

According to him, the equipments are of low quality and each time he’s recording he has to shout thereby stressing his cords which explains how his voice sounds now.
