OK, so I purchased a MacBook pro, core i7 from my friend who has been using it since 2013. He got it from Amazon so I am sure it wasn't stolen. However the recieipt was no where to be found when he sold it to me. He was about to travel out of the country and had no use for it. Recently some members of the Nigerian Police Force accosted me and they demanded the receipt of the computer. And since I had none, I unfortunately had to find other means to resolve the matter. Now I don't want such to happen again. What do do to avoid this unnecessary show of shame to keep repeating itself? Are there (if any) neceasary legal documents I can tender to prevent another scenario? |
