My candid opinion is that you give the job out to a professional who can interpret your ideas and designs. This is a new field for you and not as easy as you think it is. Besides its your sister's event and as such there will be other more important stuffs you can help with

That said, if you still insist on doing it, do you realize buying your decor items is very capital intensive? For this one job, you will need a minimum of 500k to purchase decor items for just an average decor, meanwhile with 250k or less, depending on your taste, you can get good decorator to interpret your designs. I'm not against you buying, unless u have more than enough cash to burn, it will be foolhardy to make such purchases as no two events are the same.

By the way, you can buy trad decor stuffs at Maryland cane village. You can construct your backdrop and couple's chair within the same place. Flowers, vases, walkway stands can be got at tom jones or holloway.
