Agro Service International Limited (ASIL) is an Agro based company that is into production of Cassava Starch (Tapioca) and Fish Hatchery and Grow-out. It was incorporated in Nigeria on the 22nd of November, 2005. Our corporate head office is situated at Lagos mainland, Lagos State Nigeria. Farm site is located at Ajah, Ikorodun, Iyana – Iba, Badagry and Ayobo, all in Lagos. The company net worth is put at ₦1 billion including (Farm Lands, Farm Houses, Crops, Tractors, and Trucks), an Agribusiness consultancy based in Nigeria and offers Agricultural Support Services such as Agricultural Training, Marketing, Research, etc.
ASIL aims to facilitate capacity building in the Agricultural sector of the Nigeria Economy. ASIL serves as sub-contractors to International bodies like USAID sponsored Projects, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) on USAID Sponsored Project. This will seek to Stimulate and Galvanize the confidence of the Stakeholders in the Sector. ASIL Empowered Farmers (especially those in the South West, Nigeria) and other producer groups with Technical and Managerial skills needed to grow and expand their businesses. That way the farmers have higher returns on their Investment and are encouraged to do more.
ASIL is currently recruiting qualified job applicants to fill in the following vacancies in the company.
1. General Manager
 Guide the development and implementation of seasonal plans for cultivation, equipment procurement &maintenance, and farm finances
 Provide oversight and manage all daily farm operations i.e. agronomic activities, equipment operations and logistics
 Manage contract negotiations and procurement of input materials such as cassava stems, fertilizer, herbicides, and other consumables
 Serve as liaison between ASIL Farms and the Group -Company, government authorities, host community and other external parties
 Ensure operations are within financial budget
 Ensure all resources required for farm operations are provided in a timely manner
 Guide the development of policies for ASIL farms and ensure administrative efficiency and proper implementation of policies
 Develop and execute appropriate recruiting and training plan in line with corporate objectives
Qualifications
 Minimum of 3 years experience in a General Management role and 1-3 years as a General Manager in a manufacturing or industrial company, or agribusiness
 Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable educational institution
 Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
 Experience in agribusiness management is an added advantage
