1. Visit your access url
2. Insert your username and password
3. Click login
4. This will load your cpanel page.

Installing wordpress

1. Locate this Software/services
2. Click on the Softaculous Icon in the Software/Services tab of your cPanel.
3. The Softaculous Panel will open on your end.

4. The script details will appear and you will be able to check the ratings, reviews and even access a demo of the application. Click on the Install link.

5. Click on WordPress
6. Click Install

Follow this procedure carefully
7. Choose Protocol: select http://
8. Choose Domain: select your domain name
9. In directory: delete “wp”. Leave box empty
10. Skip to site name and Site Description. Edit the content in the box. Delete “my blog” and write your company or site name. Delete site description and put your motto there.
11. Admin username: delete admin and type in the username you want to use to login to ur admin section.
12. Admin password: password you want
13. Your email: insert your company or personal email
14. Do not select any theme and ignore every other thing.
15. Click Install
16. It will check submitted data and display.

Congratulations, the software was installed successfully

WordPress has been successfully installed at :
http://yourdomain.com
Administrative URL : http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/

Logging into wordpress
1. Visit your Administrative URL : http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/
2. Insert your username and password
3. Enjoy the interface, play around and don’t get too familiar. lolz


Securing your site from hackers and viruses
1. Click on “add new” under plugins at the right hand menu
2. Search for Wordfence Security.
3. Install Now
4. Activate Plugin
5. Then Wordfence secures your site and makes it up to 50 times faster.
6. You can visit your website now. http://www.yourdomain.com.
7. It looks like a wordpress blog on start up.

BUILDING BEGINS

Installing a wordpress theme
1. Download this file http://apeledesigns.com/file/apeletheme.zip
2. Go to your admin dashboard
3. Select Themes under Appearance
4. Click add new theme
5. Click Upload theme
6. Browse for the file you just downloaded
7. And click install now
8. Wait until it loads completely. It takes a long time for the process to complete.
9. When its done just click activate
10. You will be directed to the wordpress theme section
11. LOOK up you will see this
Do you want Wordfence to stay up-to-date automatically? Yes, enable auto-update. | No thanks.

12. Select Yes, enable auto-update and it will disappear.
13. View your website now.

NOTE:
Every hosting account that you purchase on WhoGoHost comes with a default “Under Construction” landing page. Once you are ready to upload the contents of your site, you can easily delete the file that controls this page by following the instructions below:

Login to your site cpanel,
Click File Manager
Navigate to the public_html folder and delete the index.html file

Dont do anything else there

Try to change to wordpress default theme first.

Wordpress did update all their sites automatically few days back. Sure yours insist up to date already.

Thanks brother, but the problem now is that I can't even log-in anytime I type the url that message will just appear.

I can't because I employed someone to design it for me.

This is generally caused by a theme that has not yet been updated to be compatible with WP4.2. You can either manually deactivate the theme by renaming it on the server.
Login to cpanel and rename your theme wpestate.

That will solve it.

Hi OP,

Nice class. God will bless you.

I will only add to what the op is doing and together we can do it better.

Now guy having problem with wordpress, like the op said, its your theme. The guy who did it for u is using wpestate theme. That theme needs to be changed.

If you can create a temporary admin acct and provide the wp-admin access or cpanel access(not advised), I can help you with it. Then you have to look for another theme.

But if you dont know much, I can suggest and install themes for you free. You can also check out my wordpress services here: www.morebase.com/web-design/wordpress
