I notice very few Western Blacks know theirs or even care about it. All we are ever taught in school is that we are of "African" decent and we tend to accept it being totally blind to the fact that "Africa" is the second largest continent with the second highest population and the widest amount of ethnic diversity in the world. We are taught nothing about Africa before the slave trade. I care very much about my history and actually thoroughly researched it.
