Position for Security Coordinators Available. Candidate's mission is to keep all project personnel and assets safe from harm. He/she will provide support to the client in the day-to-day management and coordination of operational field security activities, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies. The incumbent will provide: security oversight, training, mentoring, supervision, support and advice, and physical protective services to the client in Lagos and the incumbent will serve in a full time 24/7 capacity – 12/12 shifts rotations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a degree in any relevant discipline
3-5 years experience
Experience with a public or private security organization at an operational level in a client facing role
Be a proponent of the low-profile, risk avoidance based approach to security management.
Good interpersonal skills to deal with managers, staff, government, military and law enforcement officials.
Working knowledge of the institutional and socio-cultural dynamics that determine the security and business continuity challenges in Nigeria, including experience in handling security events with durable positive outcomes.
Experience with operational planning and conduct of project personnel and physical security management, including every-day and field mission staff travel planning, coordination, monitoring and emergency response.
Knowledge & experience of the stipulated region of your deployment
Ability to recognize a developing threat situation and take controlled robust, emergency responsive action to prevent client harm.
Computer skills and some familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications [Word, Excel], and the ability to effectively use email and maintain databases as required
