THE JOURNEY SO FAR!

It started with the quest of igniting my citadel of reasoning through the timeless paraphernalia tool of intellectual building,
Tests and trials pulled, pushed and lifted me,
Yet I kept moving,
Keenly waiting for all things to become anew as the year is new.

I walked through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fought with every of my breath,
It seemed all things were void,
At a point they were crucial decisions I couldn't afford.

Sleeping became a sin,
As the hours of day ain't enough to intricate my wheel of knowledge,
''Rex, you are lean'' a female friend once told me,
I laughed and replied ''It's 'cos you ain't feeding me well''.

The university of first choice and nation's pride has really been an eye opener,
I could never have dreamt that there were such goings-on in the world between the covers of books,
It gives theoretical tips to the dreamland,
Vis-à-vis practical trip to the wonderland.

Now, the ovation is getting louder,
All thanks to God and my parents,
And also to my wonderful friends,
Where would I have been if you all haven't been by my side. Appreciative!!
