What connectivity features does your phone have? Bluetooth? Infrared? USB (Data) Cable?
What connectivity features does your PC have? Bluetooth? Infrared? USB Port?
Does your phone have memory card? If yes, does the PC have memory card reader?

Data exchange with PC

via IrDA, data cable or SyncStation optional accessory. Uses 9600 bit/s. This is what you need to buy, data cable.

The one above do not include your SL45 Model, hence you can get it from here

It will come with Siemens software to install on your Pc. Install it, there you go, you can now transfer files MMC to you Siemens or MP3. Remember Siemens only accept MP3 with MMC

Another way is to buy MMC and an MMC reader do it separately in you computer and insert the MMC card into your Siemens. MMC means (Multi-Media Card), A flash memory card used in some digicams and MP3 players. The MMC is identical in size and shape to the Secure Digital (SD) flash cards.

there's a host of ways u can do that. if ur phone supports bluetooth or infra-red simply buy a usb to bluetooth(N2500) or usb to Infra red(1500-2000).

plug the device into the system and start transfering files. ur phone might come with its own cable connection or u can purchase it in the market and use that also to connect ur phone to the PC and from there transfer ur files.

have fun

gudLuck

My friend, there are lot of ways u can transfer files from your PC to phone , but first you have to know they connectivity facilities your phone have and also your PC but the most common ones is either the blue tooth, the intrarad or the cable. Most phone comes with cable (USB or serial cable) and a software CD plate with that, u can transfer MP3 to your phone.
Start u connect the cable to your PC, then the your install the software to your phone . cos without that, your PC can not detect the phone even when u connect it to the PC. Then follow the instructions. After the installation, u can then download MP3 sound from the internet. U can go to www.seekasong.com for free MP3 sounds.

CHUCK IT OUT THE WINDOW

Then get a Rokr, it come with iTunes. That's if you are looking for something cheap. But if you have cash to spend go for a Switchback or get a t-Mobile Sidekick(tell your Aba boys to make them useable in Naija)

If you are adventurous, try this out. Its a DIY, add a USB to your phone.

SL45 uses a serial connection.

It is old, slow and could frustrate you terribly. Plus it is unstable. You are better off getting a more recent phone, the SL45 is totally yesterday's news.
