KADUNA – Kaduna State Governor-elect, Mallam Nasir El Rufai Tuesday said that all stolen money by the current ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, must be refunded as soon as the incoming government of the All Progressive Change, APC, was sworn in on May 29th, 2015.

The former Minster of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, made the statement in a speech yesterday when executive members of the National Union of Textile Garments and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, paid him a courtesy visit in his private residence in Kaduna.

El-Rufai said, “we will politely ask those who stole government money to return the funds.

“This is because people who are in government now (PDP) are there to work for themselves but the APC government is made up of people who are ready to work for the masses and betterment of the country.
“We will work with the textile union to ensure that lives of the average Nigerians get better”, he said.

The former Minister decried what he described as the “shameful” state of the textile industry in the area, pledging that his government will reverse the trend.

So APC Govs are all saints? This man can be sure the present day Nigeria has denounced people of his type whose sense of judgement is fraught with hatred, parochial sentiment and vendetta. Lagos despite all the money accruing from taxes government allocations over the years cannot stand anywhere close to Johannesburg and many other African cities that far less rich in materials and resources. Should we close our eyes and over- look the activities of Rochas in IMO state who just last week openly admitted to owing teachers in the state 13 months salary? What is El rufia talking about? I bet him, that impunity that characterized his activities as Minister of FCT that saw him disobey court injunctions and unlawfully demolished people's will never be condone this time around.

Who stop PDP from doing d samething when dey r in power. When Obasanjo was in power, he was using EFCC to hunt down his enemys who r corrupt. I expected Jonathan to do d same to Obasanjos friends who was also corrupt but wast touched by EFCC during OBJ era , but he gave them opportunity to add more to what dey av looted b4. e.g: FFK, MADAM NGOZI and so on.

PDP looted the treasurer for 16 years u said.the last time I checked,El rufai was with the same PDP for atleast 10years of those 16 years! U can see why it can't add up.who probe who now? Amaechi,Rochas and a host of other were also part of that looting PDP
