This is the problem with African leaders; how and why would you leave your burning home to go to your neighbour's house to discuss ways of putting out the fire It smacks of cluelessness and insensitivity (something most of our Nigerian leaders are so good at). Sad for democracy but then the aspiring African soldier always joins the military with hopes of leading his country some day through the barrel of a gun, but methinks coups will cease the day African leaders learn to be leaders in every sense of the word and that also means resigning honourably when you run out of ideas. 45 Likes 3 Shares |

Good one from the army, the army are just saving the country from total collapse due to greed of the overthrown president in seeking a third term. We are in the age of social media no government should take its citizens for granted, with just a twit you can have millions on the street 16 Likes |

lt is even better as he has been told to give up his third term ambition but he stubbornly refused despite the deaths in the last few days! What has he achieved for his people? NOTHING. Burundi remains a very poor country! 6 Likes 1 Share |
