For those asking how to invest in TBills;

1. You need to approach your bank before the next auction. Complete the NTB application form (any amount, but I will say minimum of N10,000). You will need to provide the tenor you will like to buy (91days , 182 days etc). Ensure your account is duly funded
2. The bank will compile all the application and come up with a bid rate range. Except you are an institutional investor, you can't quote your rate, you will have to accept the successful bid rate of the bank based on the outcome of the auction.
3. It's a discounted instrument so, the discounted amount is debited from your account. Hence, the difference between the amount your invested (i.e fair value that will mature) and the amount debited from your account is the investment income.

* Discounted instrument means you will receive your interest upfront and not at maturity like fixed deposit.

You have spoken well.
@bold, are you certain about the 17% for TB? Has it now improved that much?

Hello bro, I wish to research on this info about Robert Kiyosaki getting bankrupt. Google wasn't useful enough. Can you give me a link please ?

Robert Kiyosaki did not and has not gone broke.

Bankruptcy does not necessarily mean that one has gone broke.

He filed bankruptcy to protect his assets from Sharon Lechter his ex-business partner. By filing bankruptcy-it would limit what she could get from him if she won the court case filed against him.

Rich Dad's business and financial advice has been tried and tested by millions of people-that's why his books still sell!

Dear Nairalanders,

I work with one of the commercial banks in the country. There is a directive from top management in my bank that officers of my grade have to mobilize a fresh deposit of N500M before the end of June 2015.

I would appreciate assistance from all quarters because I have not gotten another job yet and funds mobilization has been very tough this year.

Useful and fruitful leads, contacts etc. would be greatly appreciated.

My bank can give up to 12% pa on a deposit of N250M and 13% pa on N500M if placed as fixed deposit for a period of 90 days.

Mods and Supermods, please help me move this to front page so that I can get the required assistance. God bless you in advance.
