Not as if it is bad but sometimes it is risky
Saw a pix recently wia an empty bottle rolled under d break pad which makes it difficult for d driver to match d break
An uncle shared a similar case wia he off his shoe while driving he didn't know d shoe was under d clutch pad
so becareful

It is a very wrong and risky practice. Get used to driving with your shoes on. But if you cannot, then make sure you throw it to the back or the passenger side to avoid stories that touch the heart.

I drive with my shoes and sandals on. But I dont feel comfortable driving with slippers (or palm like we call it in naija). So whenever I wear slippers I pull off the right foot before driving.

there is no risky at all as long there is that anti slip pedal rubber cover

here in uk it an MOT failer (roadworthy certificate fail ) if that cover is worn out

as long you are seated comfortably and being able to reach the pedals nicely it would be fine, this would be the with non worn out pedal cover

if the cover is not there the chance are high that your foot might slip

I don't know how to drive without shoes on, how do i maneuver? how do i do some sudden fun skillful things on the pedal, clutch and brakes?

How does the pedal felt on my tender foot? very uncomfortable.

I like to drive with my shoes off. It makes me connect with the car better. sometimes it could be inconvenient because you might want to do somethijg quick outside and you may waste lots of time putting your footwear back on. i think its something that you should be comfortable or not comfortable with you should do with or without.

I think it is unsafe to drive barefooted or with slippers...... I would bet you wouldn't pass a road test in a safety conscious country . Same with persons who use both feet.

I've never driven any car bare foot.
