It never seems to amaze me when someone ask for help and the next reply as you said is `Money Money Money`l thought nairaland is mean`t to help each other!
If it`s the driver that you are missing,check below to download what you need.

But if it`s the OS not loading up (operating system) don`t know what you got XP/Vista l`ll try and find a bootable disk download link.

Actually seyewest, the price the guy gave you is actually correct (i dont know any of you from anywhere) - but you did asked for help and someone is tryin to help you out - the least you can do is to at least call him - get to see what he has to offer.

Or are you lookin for someone that will give you a free drive?

both abatakan and dhtml are right. . . but personally(in the true fashion of a computer nerd) i wont pay for anything until i'm 100% sure i cant get it free!*(plus i kinda get the feeling that a lot of ppl on NL try to sell stuff they get for free and that so defeats the principles of opensource)

Alternatively, you can try to find out if there is anyone who has similar laptop, then you make a recovery dvd from that one.
