Barack Obama officially joins Twitter @POTUS and he Tweets "Hello! Twitter. It's Barrack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."

Replies kept coming in while some even asked for a ff back and RT.

Barack Obama's Twitter followers hit 1 million barely 5 hours after joining and that sets a new Guinness world book records.

It may also interest you to know that Michelle Obama tweets @Flotus. This simply means First lady of the unites states.

While POTUS means President of the United states.
