Dear sir, we understand that as a kindhearted governor, you are not also feeling comfortable for not being able to pay salary for the past 6 months. We pray that all your efforts shall not be in vain. We want to use this medium to remind your good self that the promotion letter of some of us are also being delayed due to the current financial issue of the state. We want to believe that you also appreciate our endurance nature and the peaceful conducts in the state. Sir, most of us were suppose to have been promoted since 2013. But for one reason or the other, the interview was delayed till late 2014. Our hope was very high, we thought the long awaited promotion was near, but an appeal reached us that the government may not be able to continue the payment of salary if any increment should emanate through promotion and we concurred. But the inevitable could not be avoided, the payment of salary stopped even without any increment. We suffered, we endured, we prayed and we voted. Thank God the change is near, we pray the change brings the expected breakthrough. Sir, we will appreciate if the suspended promotion could be revisited and backdated to reflect the normal date of interview financially. The arrears will go a long way to help us out of huge debts. May Allah be with you,
ease your task and your reckoning on the day of judgement when money will not be useful.
