My dear, I have dated both Igbos/Calaba girls than my own Yoruba girls cos of Roman catholic School I attended. I hardly remember their ethnicity more often than not. It was only when our conversation went tribal that i remembered that they are Igbos or Calaba babes. And this tribal conversation usually come up during cooking

It's Nairaland that opened my eyes to all this which I never thought was existing In Nigeria. I attended Sacred Heart Seminary(Don Bosco which is british missionary private school) where i met load of Igbo classmates.

I was enjoying the whole arguments and tribal attacks

It’s really sad that a rather "harmless" thread like this has been hijacked for ethnic nationalism and unacceptable personal/tribal insults. I hope we will not instil hatred in our children and leave a legacy of eternal hatred like what is playing out in the Middle East?
