Train Kills Woman In Lagos by clara472: 3:12pm On May 22, 2015
Tragedy struck in Lagos when an Iddo-Lagos bound train killed an unidentified middle-aged woman on the rail line at Cappa bus stop on Agege Motor around by 12:30pm. Eyewitnesses said, the woman seemed to have been lost in thought as she stood on the railway track while the train approached. It was also learnt that the victim was stoned to leave the rail track but she remained there. Another witness said the train did not horn until it got close to the victim. Some said the victim might have been on a suicide mission.

A Lagos State Traffic Management Authority official blamed emergency and rescue operators for the death of the woman. He said despite several calls to Lagos emergency numbers and with promises to come, they never showed up.
