TAQIYA A LEGAL LIE IN ISLAM?

In Shi'a Islam, taqiya (تقیة taqiyyah/taqīyah) is a form of religious lie or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts, specially while they are in fear or at risk of significant persecution.A similar concept in Sunni Islam is known as idtirar (إضطرار) "coercion". A related concept is known as kitman "concealment; dissimulation by omission". Also related is the concept of ḥiyal, legalistic deception practiced not necessarily in a religious context but to gain political or legalistic advantage.

This practice was emphasized in Shi'a Islam whereby adherents may conceal their religion when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion. Taqiyya was developed to protect Shi'ites who were usually in minority and under pressure, and Shi'a Muslims as the persecuted minority have taken recourse to dissimulation from the time of the mihna (persecution) under Al-Ma'mun in the 9th century, while the politically dominant Sunnites rarely found it necessary to resort to dissimulation.

In Sunni jurisprudence, denying faith under duress or other permissible reasons as per Islamic law is viewed "only at most permitted and not under all circumstances obligatory". However, there are many examples of practicing taqiyya among Sunnis where it was necessary.

In the Shi'a view, taqiyya is lawful in situations where there is overwhelming danger of loss of life or property and where no danger to religion would occur thereby.Taqiyya has also been legitimised, particularly among Twelver Shia, in order to maintain Muslim unity and fraternity.

So any time a Muslim tell you bombing and beheading is not Islamic is a form of (TAQIYA)

I refer to this as Busted. I completely agree with you. If you have ever watched the movie titled sleeper cells, you will remember that when Farik (the leader of the terrorists) was invited to a social party, he took to drinking of alcohol in the presence of his hosts to paint a picture of a liberal or western muslim and when his brother terrorists (though an undercover agent) rebuked him for that, he said it was for the greater good. So they won't be suspected. That is al taqiya. But the other guy maintained that the greater jihad was keeping oneself holy and that it was more important than the lesser jihad but Farik got angry and warned his brother terrorists and reminded him that he was the leader and commander of the crew and they must obey him. @ that point I started wondering how can you ever achieve the greater jihad through the lesser jihad when the lesser jihad will make you not worthy of the greater jihad? Then I just noticed that actually, Farik was really enjoying the taste of the wine and culdnt resist it. Farik is just like all the many imams that preach about christain dressing and alcohol drinking (take note, not talking about getting drunk) but end up in LovePeddler houses after drinking alcohol concealed in a butter of smoking some grass and misbehaving under the influence. Hehehehe islam is the perfect deception fit for the uneducated and weak minded. am too educated and enlightened to be one.

Don't mind them, it is full of lie. Islam cannot survive without lies. They always tell people Boko Haram and isis are not Islamic but those terrorists read quaranic verses before slaughtering human being. It is a former of taqqiya.
