linearity: It would suffice. Look we all know it's too late for NDLEA to withdraw they've dealt their hand and if they withdraw the man would get on a private jet and disappear forever. They could have waited for Buhari to be sworn in, my guess is this could be the hand work of Jonathan , he may have betrayed Kasahamu as a parting gift to the Americans in exchange for future favour. The NDLEA is led by Bode Georges Wife a PD0 chieftain, if they did not arrest him over the last 5 years why now ! |

If it was just an ordinary citizen, won't they by now forcefully gain entrance into that house to arrest him? All this siege won't be news. 1 Like |

baybeeboi: Seems you know alot about legal matters? LOL according to you "Why not get a warrant" who gives the warrant ? Is it not the Court? Going against the court will not get the NDLEA a warrant. The NDLEA should work with the information that they have and summon him to court, they should make a case rather than trying to pick him up like how the police does to the sad poor common Nigerian man on the street. |

NDLEA showing there reckless power. If the NDLEA wants to follow the rule of Law , they should accept the court order first and move away from Kashamu house and later go to court and challenge the ruling. We are all expecting changes in Nigeria and the Court ruling is not accpted by ordinary govt agency. Shame on NDLEA. The whole WORLD is watching the country with interest. The NDLEA is not police. It is only in Nigeria I see a soldier perfoming the duty of a policeman. Who is NDLEA not to accept the ruling of the court. They are just doing all these so as for Kasamu not to be sworn in. |

seunmsg: I have made other comments about an extra diction hearing that he has to face and the fact that a Nigeria Judge have to hold a limited scope hearing about him getting a fair trial, plus if the punishment he faced are sanctionable within the Nigeria context. Also, note that the executive branch have every right to monitor the movement of someone who they believe is a flight risk until they can obtain an arrest warrant. It appear that is what NDLEA is doing in this case. I have read many news reporting on this and all of them indicates that, he is the one that locked himself inside his bedroom and refused to leave. The extradition case in UK that he prevailed upon, was not evidentiary nor did it look into the merit of the allegations against him. The UK judged ruled in his favor then, because the U.S. sealed identifying information from the court, the dynamics of the extradition this time around could be different. I heard he refused to go to court in Nigeria to hear the extradition case against him. He should attend the extra diction hearing in Nigeria and present his case. |
