I dont have plans to get charge controllers of higher ratings. But you can parallel connect 4 10A charge controllers to get 40A charge controlling unit. Mppt controllers are costly, you might go for a single 40A controller if you can afford it.

You can connect it to an output that is varying, and use it to charge a battery or power a load.
The varying g output can be anything like a solar panel or a wind turbine.
