Once upon a time;
An old man spreads rumour
that his neighbour was a thief.
This led to the young man's arrest.
Days after, the young man was
proven innocent because it became
true that he did not actually stole
anything. After he was released,
he sued the old man for wrongly
accusing him of theft.
In the court, the old man told the
judge that they were just comments,
wasn't made to harm anyone.
The judge told the old man:
write all what you said about
the young man on a piece of paper,
on your way home tear them
and throw the pieces away then come tomorrow to hear my sentence for you.
Next day, the judge told the old man to gather all the pieces of paper and bring to him before hearing his sentence; the old man screamed that Sir, its not possible
to find them, the wind should have swept them all away. The judge then replied;
the same way, those simple comments may have destroyed the man's honour to such an extent that one is not able to find and fix them.
If you can't speak of someone well, then say nothing about them.

MORAL:
Be a Master of your Mouth.....
That way, you wouldn't be
a Slave to your Word.
