We all know this is not a new thing in developed countries, but for Nigeria, I keep wondering the kind of reaction our parents would give if we come home to introduce someone as a wife/husband to be, whom we met online.

In their own days, there was nothing like online hookup/dating.

What do I do as aa person? Lie that we met somewhere else?

Or discard the serious relationship?

Mom once told me an adage''Omo ti a ba fe n'ile ijo, iran ni o maa wo lo'' which means He who find a wife from a dancing club shall eventually find a carefree wife...

Dilemma... Please advise

Where people meet isn't or shouldn't be an issue, I say this in spite of the fact that I despise dating sites but thats talk for another day. It is where the relationship takes places the most that should be of concern. Any romantic relationship that continues online or outside of physical space is a joke or a mistake waiting to happen.
