Here is what I found on my banana plantation this morning. Imagine, I saw two bunches of banana on a stem. Initially when I saw it at another farm last year, I was surprised because I have never seen a specie of banana like this. Just thought of sharing it with fellow nairalanders

Lol at kpako. I grew up in a very large compound. We put the space to good use by turning it into a wonderful garden (fruits, vegetables, yam, cassava, plantain etc)......... Snake nor too worry us but rabbit suffer for our hand

It's not so strange dear; such a thing happens once in a while.
I've seen cases where two stems emerged from a stem and each stem carried a heavy bunch. I've seen these in plantains and bananas in the eastern parts of the country.

This is not banana but plantain. I means the OP is not a farmer and does not know the difference between plantain and banana.
This is common specie of plantain in the east.
