When they say that masquerade is spirit some still contend today that its just mortals in cloth but with Omabe masquerade the story is different because the gods or goddess behind the masquerade will chose one particular person that will be putting on the masquerade no matter his age, profession, faith and location he most home to celebrate the Omabe festival.
