10 YEARS AFTER: ZARQAWI FEROCIOUS LEGACY LIVES ON.

For a long time now, world leaders have been battling the scourge of terroism which appears to wanting to foist a 'new' jihadist agenda on existing world order. Even, the acclaimed most technologically advanced country- the US -isn't exonerated from drinking from the vinegar of terroism; as 9/11 readily comes to mind. Diverse fora on global scene, has been used to articulate the evils of terrorism. However, much as world leaders coalesced to fight this common enemy, the more it exacebrate. In spite of billions of dollars, sophiscated arsenal of war and aparatus Of state deployed to this onerous mission of suppression of terroism, it appears, the world is losing the battle against terroism to many splitter ragtag insurgent groups across the globe; ranging from Al-Qaeda, the Talibans, Isi/Isil, Al-Shabab, Boko Haram, etc.

To many students of history and followers of international events, today June the 7th, 2015 marked 10th year rememberance of the fall Of a prominient progenitor of the ISIL doctrine -Abu Musab Zarqawi.

Biography

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is a rutheless mujahideen from Jordan. He migrated to Afhganistan in 1989, enlisted as a 'intern' mujahideen and later led a jihad volunteer force in a town of Herat, a year after he returned to homeland-Jordan. Only to go and face jail term for crime which span ten years. On release from jail in 1999, he returned back to Afhganistan joined a jihad sect called Ansar al-Islam (partisan Of Islam), a militant Kurdish separatist movement. Following the American occupation in Afhganistan which culminated in the fall of Taliban in 2001, he thereby fled to Iraq where he set up his own group -Jama'at al-Tawhid w'al-jihad (the party of monotheism & jihad)- which form the foundation of today's ISI/ISIL.
His group align with Osama Bin Laden's Al-Qaeda in late 2004, due to its reputation of ferocious attacks & ruthlessness which endear him to Laden. The marriage between the two later metamophosed to the formation Of Al-Qaeda in Iraqi (AQI) otherwise called Al-Qaeda in the mesopotamia.
The new group under al-Zarqawi carried out several well calculated deadly attacks through suicide bombers on Shiite muslims, civilians, Iraqi's government/allies forces stations and US formations in Iraq, which culminated in thousands of deaths and several casualties within 2003-2006.
Zarqawi’s ambitions were cut short in June 2006, when the US Air Force led by General David Petraeus, dropped a pair of 500lb bombs on his
hideout, 20 miles (32 km) north of Baghdad. The operation code named
the “Awakening.” Meaning “Sons of Iran”. an
insurgency-within-an-insurgency.

Historical Perspective

The circumstance that led to terroism bourgeoning in Iraq is wholly predicated on the long time rivalry and resentment deep rooted between the shiites and the sunnis. The Sunnis are in minorities and had hold on to power for long, while the Shiites/Shia who are the majority are extricated from the spoils of political office; couple with the fact that the Sunnis perceived the Shiites as practising a pervese version of Islam. The Sunnis believed (and there are alot of grounds to justify this claims) they are the original heir of Prophet Mohammad (SAW), all this (and other causes) accounted for the long time vendatta that existed between the two tribes.

Aftermath till date
The euphoria surrounding the death of Al- Zarqawi (and other two top ranking leaders of the AQI) soon evaporated,as It was conceived especially in the West that it will dealth a deadly blow on their operation. However, this isn't the case. Sequel to the death Of Zarqawi, an Egyptian born explosive expert Abu Ayyub al-masri succeed him. He was the one who renamed the group as Islamic State of Iraq (ISI)-to reflect its local affiliation to the Sunni people- in October 2006. This marked the birth of ISI.
Subsequently, Abu Bark al-Baghdadi who takes the reign of power of the group afterward changed its name to the Islamic state of Iraq and greater Syria (ISIS), following the annexation of some parts of Syria by the group. The group currently priding itself as, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) is a predominantly Sunni jihadist group, that seeks to sow civil unrest in Iraq and the Levant
(region spanning from southern Turkey to Egypt and including Syria, Lebanon, Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan) with
the aim of establishing a caliphate — a single,
transnational Islamic state based on sharia. The current subsisting change in name-ISIL- is to reflect the group's conquest of Fallujah and Mosul (Iraqi's second largest city), and their ambition of creating a single caliphate in the region of the levant; under the rulership of 'caliph' Bagahdadi.
According to a UN report, the group had killed 7,818 civilians (including police officers) in Iraq alone in 2013, which doubled that of previous years.
As the numbers of casualties rising every day and their activities trending on headllines across the globe everyday, the question on peoples' mouth is that; when shall this hellhounds be put to final rest? With daily killings it isn't wrong to averred that, the blood of Zarqawi still run in the veins of ISIL mujahideens and its foreign franchise and his legacies lives on in their ferocious acts.

FIRST:before I start, let's look at how terrorism in the middle east came to place.

The colonial era, failed post-colonial attempts at
state formation, and the creation of Israel
engendered a series of Marxist and anti-Western
transformations and movements throughout the
Arab and Islamic world. The growth of the palestinian
nationalist and revolutionary movements, along
with their view that terrorism could be effective
in reaching political goals, generated the first
phase of modern international terrorism.

Which becam a model for numerous secular militants, and offered lessons
for subsequent ethnic and religious movements and created an extensive translational extremist network.

This is a political terrorism, caused by the west and it is still political.
But this time, fueled by the west.
Tho it might seem religous on the outside, that's for those gullible extremist fighters who don't know their aim of fighting.
Other than what they are being told, that they are "fighting for allah".

So when I see the west playing victims like this
the US -isn't
exonerated from drinking from the vinegar of
terroism; as 9/11 readily comes to mind.
I just ..SMH

The peeps who turn victims in the 9/11and other attacks are
Just unfortunate/scapegoats for westeren emperialism, hegemony and propaganda.

Terrorism can be stopped within a year,if the west is ready to drop her emperialist, hegemony or change her foriegn policy.

How can this be achieved?

**A comprehensive ban on chemical and
nuclear tests.
**military activities in the Middle East controlled. In the
meantime
**propose and enforce
**mutual weapons reductions, and a ceiling on the
number and quality of conventional weapons.
**Constraints should also be imposed on the
modernization of strategic weapons.
** arms reduction
**adequately verify of compliance, and establish mutual security.

Can the west do this?.
Yes they can,but their emperialist and hegemonic aganda will only be their top priority.
They need to sow the seed of discord for their aganda to thrive and be achieved.
and terrorism is an effective tool for that.

Then they will leta claim the massiah, coming to save the day and posing as mediator of peace.
After they must have sold weapon to both parties in the conflict..ISIS in a iraq and syria comes to mind.
Look at syria,iraq,ukrian,palistian,libya,somilia,N-S korea etc.
How do this extremsit/countries get inflow of armory?
I know som1 will say some of those countries got their armory from russiagrin..that will be for another day
But don't forget that russia have only one military base in the whole middle east, which is in pakistan.
And her foriegn policy, mostly concentrate on regional affaires.

Religion can not sustain terrorism, for even 6months without weapon, and where does this arms come from?..WEST.
it is the reason we have large scale terrorism today and she is using one of her tool to fuel her tyranny...MAIN STREAM MEDIA,
(cnn,bbc,yahoo etc)

Using insensitive reports on terrorism to achieve her goal.
Especially reports lyk.

**Jihadi john

**black widow of kenyan

**osama bin laden

**Bagahdadi

**shakau etc.

I was watching a report on CNN,about the ISIS house wife "the jina" and cnn was showing how this woman is living a comfortable and a perfect life and I was lyk..WTF

Are you encouraging gullible young muslims or you are discouraging them to join ISIS,cos this jihadist are already seen as "Martyr" in the islamic world.
And all that is needed is comfirmation,if the fight is really worth it and the mainstreams media helps them to clear all doubt.
By showing how this people live large, while fighting for "allah".
They even showed the hospital she works, with info on her husband and kid(the dream of many muslems)

The end result of that,is wat is happening now.
Yound muslims from all over the world trooping to iraq and syria to join ISIS

When you give them publicity, you give them fame and other people will thrive to be like them.

So my brda, when next you are compilin a report on victimization based on terrorism.
Please exclude the west, cos they are the root cause of it.

@OP, your thesis can be correctly summarise into three distinct conclusions denoted from the context of the write up. The sunject matter being 'terrorism,' thus, entails that:

1. Terrorism is a global
phenomenon, and Zaiqawi played a major part in its present day formation.

2. The Unites State was a victim- 9/11, and

3. There is need to eradicate or atleast, curtail the threat pose by terrorism.

Now, the first one.

1- it is true that terrorism is a global pheomenon, with virtually every parts of the world feeling the bite from the deadly fangs of its menace.
There is no need in dwelling on this since it is readily apparent accross tvs and radios, newspapers and the internet. And the fact that terror leader, Zarqawi, played a major role in shaping it presents formation, is not in doubt.

In a little over four weeks in April and May 2004, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi shot to worldwide fame—or more appropriately, infamy—by a strategic combination of extreme violence and internet savvy. In early April 2004, al-Zarqawi posted online a thirty-minute audio recording that explained who he was, why he was fighting, and details of the attacks for which he and his group were responsible.

But the multibillion dollar unanswered question is still hanging in the air..

How did terrorism came to be?
From where did the present day ISIS emanated? How come they are this formidable, with virtually every weapons of war (except for planes) possessed by them for field battle?
How did they get the money? Who supplied and still supplying them with such armament as can be mentioned?
It is only when you decode and understand this that you can take a decisive conclusion as regarding the act of terror.

We know that all terrorist acts are motivated and directed by two two main things:
Islam, and Islamism.
Islamism has emerged in stages, out of two historical contingencies: (1) The historical failure of Islamdom, as experienced in its replacement by Christendom as the leading global force 500 years ago. For Islam, this was an unacceptable, insane inversion of God’s order. (2) The reaction to this in the 20th century was in the manner of what scholars are nowadays calling “generic fascism.” This reaction was able to grow into a movement thanks to the reversal of the spirit of the times from imperialism to anti-imperialism in the decades after 1914. It picked up steam with the access of huge oil wealth after 1970.

Islam.

We cannot get the root causes right unless we call things by their right names. Islam is the bottom-floor root cause of Islamic terrorism.
Islam is a core part of the ideological foundation for Islamism. Islamism in turn is the main ideological foundation for Islamic terrorism, though often supplemented by leftist nationalism.
The ideological function is supplemented by social-base functions. Islam provides a mass social base for Islamism, and a powerful social support and protection network.
Islamism in turn provides a mass social base and support network for Islamic terrorism. This base is supplemented by a second support base, as Olivier Roy has shown, in the anti-Western Left; within the West itself, fashionably anti-Western radicals have converted to Islam in its militant and terrorist forms, because “it’s where it’s really being done.
Ever wonder why 90% of terrorists are islamic?

Terrorist Islam is a part of Islam as an empirical phenomenon.

But still, these does not explain the current formidable and brutal nature of terrorist bodies like ISIS, Alqaida, Boko Haram, Al shabaab, etc etc etc.

Just as Cyrus put it, the current status of modern terrorism is been fueled by the West meddling in the Middle east, the redefining of the US foreign policy to mean
''the interest of the elites/multi-nationals, by the elites/multi-nationals, and for the elites/multi-nationals,'' the elites greed to covet and own limited resources, the pipelines and crude oil tussles
have resulted in deploying extreme measures to facilitate victory at all cost.
Lies, psyops, colour revolutions, false flags, inter alia, have become the order of the day, as evident in the invasion of Iraq, Libya, Now Syria and Ukrain, as well as the 9/11 false flag.

The use of Jihadists as the vehicle of choice to achieve a political goal: depose of Syria’s president Assad, who for years has stood in the way of a critical Qatari natural gas pipeline, one which could dethrone Russia as Europe’s dominant - and belligerent - source of energy, reaching an interim climax with the unsuccessful Mediterranean Sea military build up of 2013, which nearly resulted in quasi-world war,-- are typical examples of how terrorism created by the Satanist US -led Empire of Neo cons and their so-called Zionist banksters, is playing the dominant role in contemporary geopolitics.

It is no news that the US created ISIS.

2.--- that the US is a victim of terrorism-9/11.

Hmmm... To say that the US is a victim of terrorism as it relate to 9/11, would amount to a corruption of the word ''victim'' or ''victimization.''

Lets look at it.

Simply put, a victim is a person who suffers from being at the recieving end of an overt or covert criminal act.

Criminologists now view the role of the victim in the criminal process as imperative to understanding the crime itself. Studying and researching victimology helps in gaining a better understanding of both the victim, as well as the criminal, and how the crime may have been precipitated.
For the purpose of understanding and researching victimology, four theories have been developed: victim precipitation theory, the lifestyle theory, deviant place theory, and the routine activities theory.
However, Our focus shall be on the first--victim precipitation theory.

The Victim Precipitation Theory views victimology from the stand point that the victims themselves may actually initiate, either passively or actively, the criminal act that ultimately leads to injury or death. During passive precipitation, the victim unconsciously exhibits behaviors or characteristics that instigate or encourage the attack. And a careful study of the event that follows, before or after the 9/11 attacks, would reveal a gaping hole on the government claims that terrorists from outside was responsible for the attacks, when in reality, all evidence emanating from alternatives sources, and even from within the government security setups, concretely indicated that the US was covertly responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Take for instance, the following thought provoking but yet unanswered facts:

All Jews, for some few days prior to the attack, suddenly stopped entry the WTC, and when it actually occurred, no Jews was a victim, despite having a sizable number of nationals working there.

How come many of the financial leaders in the WTC, and all of the top military leaders at the Pentagon, escaped with their lives.?

The hijackers were suppose to be dead with the planes, but their identities shows they wer still alive. How come?

Most importantly, the “hijackers alive” reports were not investigated by the FBI or the 9/11 Commission. In fact, the Director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, publicly expressed doubts about the identity of the hijackers. Yet to this day there has been no official response to these contradictions despite their high relevance to the overall investigation.

It is possible that all the planes were commandeered by way of existing remote control technology, which would explain a number of the unanswered questions. Remote piloting could explain why the planes did not squawk the hijack code, why the auto-pilot stayed on during the hijacking process, and how these planes were flown with extreme precision at very high speeds regardless of the poor skills of the alleged pilots. It would also explain how those who planned the attacks could have remained confident of their success, despite having employed unreliable, cocaine-snorting, alcoholic perverts as “hijackers.

If we examine what was needed to facilitate the attacks, we see that most of the deaths on 9/11 were the result of many things that should not have happened. And none of it could have been accomplished without the involvement of U.S. authorities.

1.Pre-9/11 investigations that would have caught the accused men were shut down.

2. All the levels of hijacking prevention failed four separate times.

3. For several hours, US leaders did nothing to protect the nation.

4. The planes should have been intercepted but they were not.

5. The planes were flown like guided missiles.

6.Three WTC skyscrapers were completely destroyed, and all of them fell through what should have been the path of most resistance.

7. Evidence for explosives at the Pentagon was discovered and not explained.

8. Some survived Workers at the buildings testified of hearing explosions at the bottom of the buildings, withing a split minute before the planes actually impacted.

9.The debris damage in Pennsylvania indicates that Flight 93 was shot down.

10. The 3rd building (sector 7) went down on a free fall without anything hitting it. How come?

11. The BBC reported the collapse of the twin towers ''27minutes'' before it actually occurred. (somebody went off book, right? )

12. Osama bin Laden blamed for the attacks, produced a tape stating his innocence, not once but twice.
Why would he do that, being a man not afraid of death?

13. Even the FBI did not enter his name as the prime suspect for the crime.

And so many more discrepancies and cover ups.

Thus, from the above, we can see that the US was aware of what happened in 9/11, is directly involved, and by virtue of the Victim's Precipitation Theory, the US as a government, was never a victim of 9/11: Rather, the PERPETRATOR!

For you can not be a victim of your own Crime!

We shall see the next.
