Selfie craze were classified into three types Borderline selfitis: those who take photos of one’s self at least three times a day but don’t post them on social media (Moderately attractive people). Acute selfitis who take photos of one’s self at least three times a day and post each of the photos on social media (People who have groomed for these activities). Chronic selfitis those who have the uncontrollable urge to take photos of one’s self round the clock and posting them on social media over six times a day (attention seekers). jargonzboi: The men who post selfies daily were more near to be narcissistic, impulsive and display other characteristics, such as a lack of empathy, research said. This phenomenon gives us all insights that we can use. It reveals that there is a human desire to be recognized and appreciated. According to the APA, while there is currently no cure for the disorder, temporary treatment is available through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
