Covenant University, located in Ota, Ogun State on Wednesday said that it would graduate a total of 1, 315 students, with 104 bagging First Class Degree. The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Charles Ayo, made this known at a press briefing today. Ayo said that the event was for the award of first and higher degrees in various disciplines in the institution. He said out of the 1,315 students, 610 others would be graduating in the Second Class Upper Division, while 510 will be graduating in the Second Class Lower Division, 91 others would be graduating in the Third Class Division, he stated. This is complicated, but i'll say this. In an environment where there's no room for distractions, playing, and then everyone is groomed spiritually to put God first and results will follow. Surely in that kind of environment you'll find much sucsess. Also it's a private School, so the criteria for bagging first class may not be high I.e Low CGPA. But come to think of it, 104 first class students is way to much. I tell you that if you sum up all the number of first class in south south universities, it won't be up to 104. All the same, congrats to them all. #@MINET16 |
