Nigerians are totally clueless, this is a move for a few individuals to monopolize the drug distribution trade. mind you, atleast 95% of all the drugs marketed in Nigeria are imported. when Nigeria ends up like the USA where pharmaceutical monopolies are sucking the people to death, then we would learn. a drug that would cost u #50 in Nigeria can cost u more than #6000 in usa even though they are both made by the same manufacturer in India or China and have the same efficiency. government should not get involved in any the running of any business, it will only lead to crony capitalism. remember what happened in the cement, sugar, salt and iron rods industry.

Didn't you read that this was started by the past administration and was to be implemented by 30th of June 2014 but they gave states a. Year to develop their distribution centers. Please stop this annoyingly blind campaign.

This is actually dead on arrival, the states that can't pay their staff salaries for months would now be in charge of distribution, meaning the drug manufacturers would collect their remittances from the state and the state would help curb fake drugs, rendering Dora akunyilis policy useless.

I really hope this government will implement this great move to the fullest.... Fake fake drugs everywhere, one will not understand until you or someone close to you has experienced the damage cause by fake drugs. I hope there is going to be sanity... though work here for the government as the big boys of Idumota and Onitsha.. even Agbeni market at Ibadan may want to sabotaged Government efforts

Nyash Licker.....The Past Administration Remains in the past. I will do government is past gone. This is a govern who rather does it than the "to be implemented" government. So get that into your thick skull and give kudos to someone who did it. Dora Akunyili (may her soul Rest In Peace) fought well and so her legacy would be well implemented and followed. Atleast it would curb the excessive flow of fake drugs in the Nigerian market and if any fake drug is found, they would know who to hold responsible for it. You should read it very well. Pathetic Tanoid!!!!

Don't bother quoting me again cos i won't even reply you.

It's a clamped down on fake products without identity.... It's hightime our drug market became dumping site for counterfeit! Parallel imported products without NAFDAC number litters everywhere... there must be a stop to it! This should be a welcome development ...except you are involved in parallel importation and circulation of substandard products.
