Liverpool Signed Another Nigerian. by Rubikova: 6:32pm On Jun 29, 2015
Liverpool FC's love for Nigerian players seems to be developing at a frenetic pace in recent times.
Remember Azizat Oshoala? Jordon Ibe? Thiago Ilori? Sheyi Ojo?
The latest addition is teenage whizz-kid Bobby Adekanye signed from Barcelona FC.
Bobby, a very fast winger is a Nigerian born Dutch.
Hoping the NFF will keep him on their radar.

If the guy is that good then Coach Emmanuel Amuneke should go and grab him now. No need for long story. I just hope the guy will be a good asset to our U17.

Good. Our Golden Eaglets should be very strong with Makanjuola (Chelsea FC), Bobby Adekanye(LiverPool FC) and many others.

Habib Makanjuola played in d U17 2 yrs ago.Though he is still 16yrs old he is inelligible for this yr's U17. According to FIFA rule u can only play d U17 once.

Thanks for the clarification. Why then did the Coaches rush him that time? Just hope we get other better players this time around be it home or foreign based.

Habib makonjuala ply his trade with middles borough fc now. A great juggler of the ball. it is said of him that if he utilizes just 40% of his skills, he could be better than Jay Jay. This assertion was made by Coach Manu Garba during the FIFA U17 world Cup at the UAE in 2013. His bane is that he is not a team player. ..

The NFF thought it wise to quickly sweep him before he choses to play for England youth Teams. He will likely be part of the next U20, then he would be 18yrs old. Another player that suffered similar fate is 17yrs old Chinedu Obasi. He was 15 when he played for the Eaglets 2 yrs ago. He will be 19 in 2 yrs time and could feature for the Flying Eagles. I see a stronger Flying eagles Team in 2 yrs time with players like Taiwo Awoniyi, Musa Yahaya, Musa Mohammed, Chidiebere Nwakali, Chidera Ezeh, Ifeanyi Mathew, Akinjide Idowu, Mustapha all eligible to play. There are already some hot talents from the current crop of U17, top of which are Kelechi Nwakali and Osime, waiting to be show-cased in September.
