These men of God dey live large sha while congregation they suffer hoping that one day, they would arrive like pastor. I believe if any one has time for God, god would definitely have time for that person without throwing all ur hard earned cash at some pastor who will continue to buy hummer,lincon, private jet,cruise boat and so on. Request: If anyone can provide picture of the berger paint tin can helmet, I would love to see. I am in no way attempting to defend these above named people or individuals like them. It will be proper to say that, aside from their religious responsibilities, many of them do have their private businesses, e.g. authoring books. Their popularity in the religious realm could serve as an advantage for these people to sell their products. It is sort of a cycle. a pastor that writes a book for example. Religious Leader - main responsibility - spread the world, help the needy, etc Religious Leader - private business - book writing - to be sold to predominantly members of his/her congregation If a religious leader is to help people have a better understanding, why write a book and sell it since not all may have the money to buy? Why not give it out for free so that everyone could benefit? Some have legitimate businesses, so do not discredit anyone of them. Some or most have used their fame to push their private business |

And lets even assume they have legitimate businesses (probably set up with the church money) as christian leaders they should not be flamboyant more from the business should be channeled to charity if they are truely keeping christ's commandments instead of involving in carnal show off. How come their counterparts in the anglican community or catholic dont live that kind of flamboyant lifestyle. Do these pasotrs have monopoly of godliness? Like i would lways say the early generation of churches did theirs with sincerity and not for money but what we have now is all businessmen. I dont see such lifestyle with the church of england vicars nor does Dr Roman Williams live such a life. It is these same people that brought the faith to Nigeria and their life is still simple. There is no problem in a pastor having his own business nor but the issue is what Kunleoshob has raised (probably church money) and they should practise modesty. |

@KunleOshob Your arguments and mine are pretty much the same. I mentioned why not give them out for free to help people. Why take advantage of the congregation in order to push forward their personal business. Since they are there to help people, why take the money people need and line their pockets. Knowing that the people are suffering, struggling. Why ask them to pay for whatever items they are panhandling. |

fyneguy:1. False / stage manged miracles is the lie most synonymous to him 2. He publicly refused to return STOLEN money from sheraton given to his church ( remember when Jesus complained about people turning his fathers house into a den of thieves) 3. He also preaches tithes, seed sowing and first fruits which are very good examples of clever lies false preachers preach to get of of your money as we were warned in 2 peter 2: 1-3. They are clever lies beause in each case scripture is twisted to convince people to part with there money. The best way to tell a lie is to spice it with a bit of truth, hence mis quote scripture which pastor chris is notorious for. |
