Maiduguri - Boko Haram militants have so far killed 603 Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members in Borno State , reports Leadership. The dead civilian JTF were attempting to prevent bomb strapped Boko Haram insurgents from detonating their bombs in large crowds. Also read: Boko Haram kill four in Maiduguri Barr Jubril Gunda, the legal adviser of the CJTF disclosed this on Monday during a two day summit on Security and Governance in the North East organised by the CLEEN Foundation in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. He noted that 360 CJTF members have been integrated into the conventional security agencies. The figures includes 200 in the Nigerian Army, 120 into the Department of State Service (DSS) and 40 recruited into the Air force. |
