Aflatoxin is a highly toxic food toxin present in maize, released by a microscopic fungus, invisible to the naked eye. Aflatoxin is a leading cause of cancer, reduces growth of humans and chickens, and massively reduces the immune system making humans and chickens catch diseases much more easily.
Feed produced with our low aflatoxin maize has been proven to increase productivity and reduce mortality of layers by up to 9% and 10% respectively and reduce FCR and mortality of broilers by up to 5% and 30% respectively.
We control for Aflatoxin in our maize by:
· Following comprehensive processes to minimize crop being infected by fungus. These include; ensuring cob/grains never touches the ground, ensuring crop is not stressed with access to good nutrients, Segregating damaged cobs

· Eliminating Toxic fungus; removing aflatoxin at source by eliminating toxic fungus in soil.



· Airtight Storage



Grains stored in air tight storage reducing oxygen levels and reducing growth of fungus.

Using the common bagging style, you'll get 100 kg in each bag. So 10 bags= 1 ton.

The uncommon style is that bagging of the product in 50 kg bags (Cement bag lookalike). In this style 20 bags= 1 ton.

However, you are most likely to encounter the former.
