These are the signs that people miss and then get landed with an elephant problem after marriage and when people ask the "victim" they say she/he changed, but infact they never changed. One just didnt take notice of things. What a stupid and selfish question . . how old is she? 12? You are also an enabler. Why are you giving your gf the same amount as your mum? When you marry she will tell you to double her own amount and give your mum zero! Alarm bells are ringing loud and clear now. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Re: A by pickabeau1: 6:22pm On Jul 01, 2015 |
Stillfire: Yes it is widespread for guys to augment their gf income regularly It however needs to stop. one time I get ... not regular stuff Guys need to stop this 1 Like |

An Ex once asked me to choose btw her,and my good friend then, cos my friend and I were very close. I laughed then, today she's gone,my friend is still there. Bottom line, she's a fiance, asking such question show she's a dangerous lady when you eventual marry her. 2 Likes |

The fact that a guy really loves his mum and sister and it shows, just means he would equally love and cherish his wife. As long as his decisions are not toppled over on every female relative's wimp. And what is this she prefers to talk to your face issue, is that not a communication gap already? As for telling her what you give your parents, with this kind of jealousy, na for her to open thread dey cry, my husband gives all our extra cash to his family. #imo |

pickabeau1: Is it a matter of what Nigerian women expect from their men or what Nigerian men willingly do? Who would have to break the cycle? |
Re: A by pickabeau1: 1:13pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
Stillfire: I am surprised you are unaware of this.. are you feigning ignorance? Paying the bills of your gf is an obligation and girls expect it Making it regular is now at the discretion of the guy 1 Like |
Re: A by Stillfire: 1:37pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
pickabeau1: I an not unaware of this. I just find it weird. I want to know if this issue is more of Nigerian woman requiring this and putting so much pressure on the men or the man thinking he must do it? And who should take the blame for being too overzealous on each side? I hear one of the angst of other African men in Nigerian men taking their own women is that Nigerian men spend so much on women. Are Nigerian men to blame for being frivolous? Or is it the women that constitute caring as spending money on them? |
Re: A by pickabeau1: 1:49pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
Stillfire: I am sure you have heard of statements like this ... Why are you so stingy Why cant you be like other men You are not even caring I leave the women to answer you |

naijababe: Lol, you know I left Nigeria before I started dating, so I have not experienced the dating dynamic over there. So maybe times have changed over there. |
