Had I Known Is A Regretable Statement When One Does Wrong Thing Or Took Wrong Step. I Believe This A Phone Section. I Bought A Tecno Phone That Comes With Latest Android Version Of 4.4.2 Kitkat. I Have Been Enjoying This Phone Not Until I Came Across Some People Who Do Tweaking Of Imei. I Ask "How Do You Guys Garner 18gb Without Buying It"? I Was Told To Root My Phone Before I Can Enjoy Tweaking. Hmm! I Rooted My Phone Ooo. I Started Tweaking Ooo, no gigabytes ooo. i keep tweaking until last week when my phone started displaying "no simcard detected" i thought it was a joke ooo hmm! i google to check if i can do this myself, but all i could see was sp flash tool, mtkdroid and the likes i am to fix it. when i check my imei numbers could you believe the imei numbers were invalid baseband nko? unknow! i took it to slot i was told to pay #4k to fix it. My Candid Advice Is That If You Root Your Kitkat 4.4.2 You Might Experience What I Experienced. I Am Phoneless Now. Root Not Your New Phone. Thanks For Reading. 3 Likes |

I rooted my two new fones but tweaked none of them imei... It makes waranty void and maintenance wud b tough |

elijah2u: Bro I have been tweaking for more than a year plus now and nothing happen to any phone i use for it. Maybe you tamper with something on your phone especially using mtk droid tools.. You've to be careful coz i have noticed that happens mostly with techno products coz i am witness of my friend techno phone. Try other mtk products. 3 Likes |

Rooting comes with its own headache, I have seen seasoned android geeks brick a device while flashing files.. Anybody can be a victim, but that's the risk android mavericks accept.. Sorry bro 1 Like |

Before changing your imei your always advised to back it up first, but too bad u didn't, u sef no even write am down n u dey complain, u cast ur phone urself,u didn't follow instructions.   |
