About time!

NFF never wanted him in the first place but they were strong armed by the last administration.
With all his support all but gone Keshi felt he had a chance with cote d'Ivoire. But it was also his down fall because the NFF were looking for any excuse to get rid of him.
Now he is gone I think we can move on.

Good for him!

And it has to do with GEJ's failure to win a 2nd term.

Dude suddenly became humble after GEJ lost the election.

Too late...

He had his greatest support from the head of the DSS who was sacked last week .
Department of State Security Service (DSS), Mr. Ita Ekpeyong.

I hope the issue resulting in this sack won't haunt him forever. Team handlers sure need discipline and contentment.

Best wishes, tha big boss!

NFF are confuse set of people. They give dis guy a job wen they knw that they don't like his service. They should also take blame 4 so many things that is happening concerning our football. They should alwys give our coaches that free hand to choose their players.

As far as i am concern Keshi will always remain one of the finest indigenous coach in Africa. A lot of people want to b a coach put them there they will womble, fumble and even tumble like our big masquerade

We are not proud of what we have.

Good News. I never liked his egocentric attitude towards the players and Nigerians as a whole.

I asked for his sack since 2 yrs ago.I am glad he is gone and NEVER to come back.

MAYOWAAK:
In the meantime, a quick reflection will reveal that Nigerian football has definitely retrogressed. During the 1970s, ’80s and early ’90s, the Eagles were regular semi-finalists and finalists at the Nations Cup. In the early 2000s, they were regularly bronze medal winners. During the last 10 years, they have struggled to reach the quarter-final stage on occasions. Now, in TWO OF THE LAST THREE TOURNAMENTS, they have completely failed to qualify.

With the benefit of hindsight, the 2013 triumph is now looking like a lucky accident, a mere flash in the pan. If we delete it from the graph, we are confronted by a consistent decline in performance….and results!

I have taken some time to analyze the situation. My conclusion is that Nigeria’s style of play, if we can describe it as one, has lost its effectiveness. Power and pace has been the fulcrum of our tactics. We have won the odd matches here and there because of the tremendous speed and strength of our individual players. But, as a football team, the rest of Africa is leaving the Eagles behind.

I request the technical department of the NFF to ask for the recordings of all the matches the Eagles have played on the African continent in the last 10 years or so, and see how many of those matches, irrespective of the result, that we dominated in the area of ball possession.

During the past decade, Nigeria have repeatedly been out-played by the likes of Guinea, Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Malawi, Congo and South Africa. In many of those games, I noticed that these modest African teams controlled and moved the ball better, made runs into space, exchanged passes better and did all the simple things better.

In those games, we often managed to win because an Emmanuel Emenike fired an unstoppable shot against the run of play, an Obinna Nsofor blasted home a free kick, a Victor Moses scored a penalty or an Ahmed Musa simply ran his marker aground. When it came to deliberately and creatively working out a goal like the one Osaze Odemwingie scored against Bosnia Herzegovina at Brazil 2014 after combining with Emenike, it is very rare in the Eagles collection.

I love u

They will soon call him back for one assignment or the other ,I belief that when u sack somebody it,s means the fellow is no longer relevant to your service, very very unlike them @ the glass house. Like how many times Amodu was sacked, still he is still there as their official. such a confusion set of people.

Re: Keshi Sacked By NFF by 1025: 11:58am On Jul 06, 2015
hahahahahahahaha, comedians. before you sack a coach, you must ask those who are specialists in sacking. Am talking about teams like Chelsea and Madrid.
as long as Keshi has contract that is still running, if the NFF are terminating his contract, they should be able to pay him off. that is it is why he signed the contract.
just calculate him salary for that two remaining years or so, and put it inside his account and that will be the end of solomon grandi otherwise, you in to pay two coaches at a time.
