Generally, Solar Panels above 150 watts are 24-volts while those below 150-watts are 12-volts.
A 12-volt panel can produce up to 18-volts.

2kva pure sine inverter is ok for ur setup with a standard puresinewave inverter like microtek prize of 2kva 95,000 battery use quanta or full river battery but very expensive prize range from 120--130,000 but if u want to use gacia or mercury 92,000 the important thing in inverter is battery first and secound good installation calll 08166117634 for more info

I am on a tight budget, i want to get new batteries. I don't have 100k & above for that & most good ones comes in that range

can someone recommend a good Chinese battery?

buying a new Chinese battery 200amp vs buying fullriver/quanta 100amps, which is better

Goodmorning Guys.

I am having issues with my setup. My setup consists of a 30A smart charger, UPS and 100ah battery, and it is less than 1month old.

No matter how long i charge it (even without using it and with the smart charger knob set to 120-160ah), it never seems to get filled up, and when i use it, it doesnt last me up to 4hours with my load of approximately 145w (laptop 70w, fan 65w

Also, for some very strange reasons, my standing fan (not rechargeable) doesnt work on the set up. the day i launched it, the fan worked perfectly, but an hour later, the intensity dropped. Now, it comes on but doesnt rotate. But when i plug it to normal electricity supply, it works perfectly.

What could be wrong?

Your fan is a power guzzler.Buy standing rechargeable fan which is around 20 watts for longer runtime.Besides 75watt for a laptop is too much.My hp pavilion is just 45 watts.Cut your load

Hello, your battery cells might be weak ! I believe your ups isn't a pure sinewave , that is the major reason your fan coil degenerated in performance. Only a few people knows that most ups which ain't pure sinewave affects fan coils on the long run. shocked
If you must use a ups , go for the
-24v APC smart inverter which ranges from 20-25k.
-2 units of 100a agm batteries
-24v smart chargers or the affordable Emerson brands.
I have been using the APC for past 10yrs and its very durable & reliable . I only have few APC units at give away price. Cheer's

@kiekie1 and surrogatesng, thanks for your inputs. i appreciate.

Honestly, i havent felt this bad and cheated in a very long time.

I got home this evening and looked at my setup critically, and i noticed that the battery is swelling up already.

i cant exactly say if it is my smart charger that isn't smart enough to stop charging when the battery is filled up or if the fault is from the battery, but i know i have charged the battery long enough (as long as 24hours) for the battery to fill up and used it with my standing fan, laptop and light, and it didn't last up to 3 hours.

I am the kind of person that prefers to buy stuffs based on recommendation, irrespective of the price. I bought the battery from the guy at Computer Village. When i called him to explain to him, he told me that i have damaged his battery and that i shouldnt bring it to his shop. And this is supposed to be a brand new battery i bought at his place on the 16th of last month and he gave me warranty .

I really have the good mind of confronting him this weekend, but the stress of carrying a 100amps battery from Olodi Apapa to Computer Village just tire me, plus i am free only on weekends

Guys, what do i do?

PS: I think Ceejay80s should consider removing that guy's contact from this thread. He is a dishonest fellow

We learn daily ! Sorry for your loss. I didn't really get if battery was brand new in your explanation, I am also aware that there are some factors militating against "warranty" like overcharging , fire, physical damages etc.
It would have been more understanding if the seller explained to you a bit for good business relationship sake but nevertheless , contact me for a more lasting solution. Cheer's !
