If the recommendations of the NFF disciplinary
committee stands, then Super Eagles captain
Vincent Enyeama, has played his last game for the
former African champions.

According to African Football, the Lille goalkeeper
may be stripped of his captaincy, following his
remarks about the security of Kaduna, before the
Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

“The federation is not happy with the Eagles
captain. And I am sorry to say if the leadership
decides to follow the recommendations of the
disciplinary committee to the letter, then maybe
Vincent Enyeama may have played his last game
for the Super Eagles,” said one official.

“Even if he is recalled to the national team, he may
no longer wear the captain’s armband, because the
NFF view his actions before and after the game
against Chad as bad example for other players, also
he didn’t show up for the disciplinary committee
hearing”.

The official added: “You see what has happened to
Keshi, it’s the disciplinary committee’s
recommendations; so, if Enyeama escaped their
recommendations, then it must be a divine
intervention.”

Enyeama made his debut in 2001 and he is now the
most capped Nigeria star with 101 appearances

NFF should be aware of the implication of some of their decisions, sacking Keshi is enough distraction in our bid to qualify for next AFCON competition. Eyeama is a loyal servant of the super eagles and arguably the most respected, banning him will be a big blow. I thereby recommend that he should warned against future conduct and dined reasonable amount of money. ©MON33

With Keshi's sack, NFF has suddenly grown some balls. Strip him of the captain's armband and a fine would do but don't ban him. He is our best player for now.

He's got nothing to lose! NFF you are the loser by miles!

You can get away with Keshi but with Enyeama? He's gonna give you good riddance to bad rubbish!

If your team captain, best player and veteran is being treated this way, know for sure that nothing good will EVER come from your regime.

Bunch of losers!

Clueless NFF wanting to play the role of a coach undecided little wonder they fired Keshi.

The captain is the voice of the team so for sure,he didn't speak for just himself.

That will be political suicide, even in the last game at Kadunna - the guy made some critical saves.

Bros are u begging them? A bunch of men with no direction. That guy has made his name and impact. Nigeria needs him more in football circles but i guess NFF remains very dull as ever and will not appreciate it until we flop again and fail to qualify.

Am sure it a big joke. I can't imagine the right keeper for Nigeria. It is just like having valdes @ man united porous defence last season. Calamity.

Without enyeama we conceded against common tahiti

Before Enyeama, there was super eagles after him there will continue to be. So there's no need to feel that if he is not in the team, super eagles will crumble. We ve always had good keepers and will continue to do so. Its cos of sentiments like these that players feel they re bigger than the team.

If he is at all pardoned it should be because of his legacy and so that he retires in an honourable manner not cos we can't do without him.
