Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State, Donatus Nwankpa, has faulted the labelling of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of President Muhammadu Buhari’s stay in office so far as a month of all motion, no movement and urged the party to wait for his 100 days in office.

Nwankpa, who stated this in an interview with Vanguard in Aba, insisted that rather criticism, the President should be supported to select the right people to serve in his administration.

He said: “You don’t assess a government in a month period. The minimum acceptable standard of assessing any government is 100 days in office. So, PDP should wait for the 100 days in office.

‘’There is no doubt that their criticism of President Buhari’s administration as a month of all motion, no movement is in bad faith. For the PDP, it has always been fire brigade approach.

‘’They were always hurrying for the past 16 years and where did they take us to? The President is taking his time and should be supported to choose the right people to work with.

‘’Before you choose the captain of a ship that was almost wrecked, you must choose the best hands that can re-navigate the safety. This is what the President is doing. He is not a magician, but a patriotic Nigerian who assumed office at a very challenging period in the history of the country.

‘’For this, Nigerians must also show understanding of the situation. I am sure President Buhari will deliver on his electioneering promises.”

The chairman said the President was trying to correct what he described as the 16years of disaster of PDP’s misrule, and urged the party to shun politics of bitterness.

Honestly it's too early to start tagging the govt of PMB as incompetent. Let's wait till at least 6months before establishing incompetence on his part.

One month ooo , 100days oooooo

Buhari should just deliver before 2019.

The 100days stuff does not make sense.

If the govt is good for first 100days and nothing more after then.

How will you now.rate it?

Well said. Over the years, PDP and Tanoids have shown that they have nothing to offer this country. They indeed should shut it and stop distracting well meaning people with their empty noise.

Though it is early to label the administration a failure, but the administration has to understand the time is going.
We should have been seeing the effects of the change being craved for.

The childhood shows the man, as the morning shows the day.

Buhari's failure to issue a single policy pronouncment on the menace of insurgency shows he's only groping in the dark, without a clear cut strategy on how it can curbed.

Little wonder he had to consider negotiation as a strategy.

We waited for 36 days with 750 killed so far, how long are we prepared to wait to see our country run aground? I hope Buhari stays to give report of his 100 days as president. If he continues to be indecisive, we may not have to wait too long before he's impeached. He managed 18months last time he was president, the way things are, he may not last that long.

Faulting everything under APC government is not constructive opposition but aimless ramble

APC should rather STFU and focus on delivering democratic dividends. We didn't elect them to disturb us with baseless rants.

APC did the same thing including rejoicing after every boko haram bomb blast.
To expect anything different now is to live in denial.

These APC guys expect nigerians to keep quiet inspite of Buharis
one month of all motion, no movement

Do they realise thousands may die if we have to wait for 100 days with the rate of recent attacks by BH terrorists if Buhari is not kept on his toes?. Instead of being defensive APC better advice Buhari to buckle-up and stop giving excuses/blaming past administration.

Buhari is working, only the blind will not see it. Jonathan slept in office for 6 years these saTANists said nothing, now they are running their mouths like a dog suffering from diarrhoea.
