Windows 10, the much awaited new Windows version by Microsoft will be released soon, following the technical review version which was released a while ago, the final version is expected to be release soon. As said by Microsoft, Windows 10 supports different devices from PCs, tablets, Xbox One, Phones and the likes. The new Windows 10 comes with a lot of changes to the previous version and also lot of features being added including task view, advanced start screen, cortana and the likes.

Windows 10 has seven different editions with different features based on devices and business, bellow are the Windows 10 editions;


Windows 10 Editions


1. Windows 10 Home

Just like the Windows 7 basic home, Windows 8, 8.1, Windows 10 Home is normal consumer-focused edition designed basically for PCs,tablets and the 2-in-1s, it features Cortana, the new Edge browser, Windows hello face-recognition, tablet mode for touch devices, fingerprint login and other windows apps like mail, calender and the likes.


2. Windows 10 Pro

Windows 10 pro is also like Windows 7 professional, Windows 8 pro, it based on Windows 10 Pro but with lot of extra features for small scale business to efficiently manage their devices an apps and secure their business data.


3. Windows 10 Mobile

Windows 10 Mobile is specifically designed for mobiles devices like smartphones and small size tablets, it also comes with the new basic Windows apps Windows 10 has, it has the continuum capability where users can use their phones just like PCs when connected to a larger sreen.


4. Windows 10 Enterprise

Windows 10 Enterprise is like the Windows 10 Pro but with additional features for medium and large sized business organization to let protect their devices, apps and business data from modern security threats.


5. Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise

Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise includes all features in Windows 10 Mobile but with well mobile optimized additional features for business organization to manage their business updates.


6. Windows 10 Education

Windows 10 Education is builds on Windows 10 Enterprises to meet the needs of students, administrator and staffs for use in schools and higher Institution, it will be available with Microsoft’s Academic Volume listening


7. Windows 10 IoT

Is has a similar operating environment as the Windows Embedded, it’s designed basically for small footprint and low-cost devices like gateways and IoT scenarios.
