Fellow nairalander,as we all know everyone wants to drive an automatic car this days, what are the actions to take when the brake fails..
Unlike manuals which is more easy to control with the gear.
please your contributions is necessary to safe lives

Shift from D to S to L in reasonable sequence to utilize engine braking as much as possible, then slowly & firmly apply the parking brake when the vehicle has slowed down sufficiently. Do not place the lever in N, R or P.

May God protect us from brake failure.

Will add a little to what orex has said,

You can also apply your parking brakes gradually

Then if there's a concrete road divider, there's a reason they are not made flat and straight, its designed to hit the wheels if the impact is light, so if there is time gradually use ur wheels to slow you down by driving nearly parallel to the divider but at an angle the makes contact with it, will scratch ur wheels but not the body of the car, and car will stop quick.

May God save us from brake failure.

Always make sure your brakes and tires are in good condition before driving, never gamble with them. Being proactive solves more problem.
