Who said Buhari is not working?  ******************************** Nigeria's Former Head of Service, Steve Oronsaye, Faces Charges For Laundering N1.9billion The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign Nigeria’s former top civil servant over allegations he stole over N1.9billion. Mr. Steve Oronsaye, who served as Head of Service, was arrested on Wednesday and remained in detention until Friday when the EFCC filed charges at a federal court. He was granted bail and ordered to present himself for proper arraignment on Monday. EFCC sources told Saharareporters that Mr. Oronsaye remain in detention unable to fulfil the copnditions for his bail. Details of the charges obatined by our reporter are included below, also SaharaReporters had previously detailed some of the financial shenanigans involving Mr. Oronsaye following documents received from the EFCC concerning its investigation of allegations he stole the money during his tenure as Head of Service. I'm still very surprised that a seasoned financial guru, professional services/auditing/accounting heavyweight (as a former KPMG partner) and veteran administrator like Oronsaye wouldn't know how to cover his tracks properly. This is precisely the kind of guy that should know how to steal and launder billions in a porous system like Nigeria without leaving any paper trail. Something must have gone terribly wrong somewhere. |

"Stealing is not corruption". How much did Jim Nwobodo "stole"? "Ordinary $5 million".(where $1 million is enough for an average European to retire for life). So said the Port harcourt degree( PhD ) clown. Yeah right, That clown did refer to 5 million dollars as ordinary. An emperor without clothes. 5 feet tall and 1/2 an inch deep. All paper qualifications but no common sense. Nothing I would love more, than to see the country separate and watch some parts unravel from afar. People who should not even be in position to touch money were robbing the country blind. Yet he and his supporters had the temerity to ask for 4 additional years. The people who say that the leadership is usually drawn from the Followership are right.( with outliers here and there) Jonathan represent the societies out of which he came from. 1.9 billion naira is about the same amount it cost osun state ( one of the 7 most populous states and with over 90% enrollment ) to feed school pupils and students every year. Equatorial guinea has more or less the same GDP per capita as Spain Isreal New Zealand South Korea Larger than Cyprus,Czech,Republic,Slovenia,Slovakia,Lithuania,Estonia,Portugal Greece PolandBahamas,Hungary Even yet ,outcomes are not different from Nigeria's.
