1. MARIJUANA
This is known as the third most popular recreational drug

effects of marijuana include dizziness, shallow breathing,
red eyes, a dry mouth, increased appetite and much
more. 2. STIMULANTS Stimulants are known as psychoactive drugs which induce temporary improvements either mentally or physically. They are widely used throughout the world as prescription medicines but are mostly abused. When abused, they are swallowed, injected in liquid form or crushed. The shot-term effects of stimulants include exhaustion, depression, high body temperatures and irregular heartbeat. 3. INHALANTS Inhalants are common household products which is mostly used by teenagers to get high. Users inhale these chemical vapors directly from open containers by either sniffing or breathing in the fumes from rags soaked in chemicals. They are typically found in a home environment including spray paints, hair deodorant sprays, fabric protector sprays and much more. DEPRESSANTS Depressants are referred to as psychoactive drugs which temporarily diminish the normal function of the brain as well as the central nervous system. These can also be called “downers” due to their side effects. Depressants come in multicolored tablets and capsules or in liquid from as well. People who abuse this kind of drug tend to suffer from slow brain function, lowered blood pressure, poor concentration, fatigue, dizziness, fever, etc. 5. COLD MEDICATIONS The majority of the over-the-counter and prescription cough and cold medicines which contain active ingredients that are psychoactive at higher recommended dosages are frequently abused for this purpose. These products contain other drugs like expectorants and antihistamines, which are dangerous at high doses. However, young people who abuse these drugs are in danger of high blood pressure, heart and breathing problems, nausea, hallucinations as well as convulsions. |
