. First and foremost the cause of our economic malaise is a plethora of factors. For one the oil glut and the oil crash played a huge part in dismantling the already weak foundation. second its on record that madam NOI forecasted this situation as far back as 2012 during the subsidy issue, no one believed her. Third our crash was a collective failure of all sides, both the PDP and the APC and not GEJ alone. The fact is as I state once more you can not give what you don't have. During the nurumberg trials, a witness was asked what he thought of General Tojo. And he said "General Tojo is a common soldier put him in charge of ten rifles and he will do fine but put him in charge of an armoury and you will see a catastrophe". General Tojo is just like PMB

I actually laughed when I read this because you might have given scientists a break, I mean, "plethora" transformed from something into a human called Buhari, it must be the "missing link" we've been looking for (comic relief). grin

If you have decided o blame "plethora of factors" for GEJ's Nigeria's failure to diversify, save, create jobs and boost energy output and production, how then can you blame Buhari for Nigeria's inability to witness a miracle within just 2 months of assuming office? Isn't that unfair? Why don't you wait till Buhari causes the catastrophe because it seems you don't have a choice for at least 4 years, while also bearing in mind that PDP has no chance on that seat for many years to come, that's if it survives the hurricane that is probably still warming up for it from the Atlantic?

Is it the ideal situation?

Is it unconstitutional?

Whynotthetruth:

Nigeria isn't one of America's banana republic as that diplomat pointed out and Gowon acted same...

Buhari's crime include;
1)He has failed to understand that our sovereignty must be respected...hence allows US/UK to discuss Nigerian affairs as that of a subsidiary company... Imagine Cameron tweeting about Nigeria from his corridor...

2)America refused to sell us weapons to fight boko haram on flimsy excuses...just like they did under Gowon...instead of buhari showing how displeased such action is to Nigeria and Nigerians... he embraced them...And even accepted to ridicule our own diplomat who spoke the truth to America by dumping him out of the delegation because America instructed thus...

3)Buhari hasn't implemented any agenda of his own...probably he has none... before rushing to America... Isn't it important and necessary that he start till such a point when the need for such external help is inevitable...

4)If buhari had any plans...believe me, he won't have time to be honoring all such invitations...he would be too busy especially now that he has no cabinet...

5)Imperialists give no free help...having granted buhari their propaganda machinery to ride to power...what was their agreement with buhari?...At what cost is buhari presidency to Nigerians?...

6)All our economic woes today was foreseen by NOI but bulk of those who fought her and such policies are APC...so why are they complaining?...and shifting blames...

7)Jonathan crimes against America & European Powers include; his signing anti-gay law, refusing European bilateral open trade offer, refusing American soldiers abode in W.Africa, establishing strong trade partnership with China, etc...so which of these is buhari going to repeal?

coolBuhari has ruled this country before now...his records are there...That he didn't steal as much as others doesn't cover for all the glaring failure in leadership in his time...He never performed well especially as head of state...check all the indices...especially economic including job creation...

9)Do you know that buhari's travel allowance FAR outweigh his salary?...for those celebrating salary cut which is not possible given RMFAC law...

cc. hinwazaka

Buhari has not disrespected Nigeria's sovereignty, he just changed our foreign policy from a country who was disregarded to a country who is now being respected. South Africa has agreed or has returned our laundered seized funds, bi-lateral relations are improving with the rest of the world and gradually Nigeria will no longer be seen as this weak, corrupt nation ruled by zero influential and highly compromized leadership.

Buhari is working on his team of ministers and advisers, we need to be patient. A lot of changes need to happen in our system because we can witness a feasible growth. The country will get back on its feet once again soon, it involves patience and sacrifice from all of us. We had this patience and sacrifice with PDP for 16 years before we realized they were fooling everyone, especially within the last 5 years, what we did was try the other option, can't we at least have the benefit of witnessing the change we voted, or do you want to force down PDP's "dearth wish" for this government on our throats?

We, the citizens of Nigeria, don't really care about Jonathan's labeled "crime" against the west, they didn't tell him to oversee over $50 billion dollars to get missing from our treasury. The west didn't tell him to bless corruption and give it recognition within his government etc.

Yes I know the president's travel allowance is much more than his salary, like every other president. Ordinarily this money should be returned to the treasury when unused, it's his "official" travel allowance... so cutting his salary was a noble thing to do

Yes our woes were predicted by NOI, even Sanusi who was labeled APC because he was outspoken against government was vocal about our wastefulness too, the problem was, NOI couldn't tell her boss the truth which was to muster the courage and fight corruption rather than play around it, or maybe she did but her boss was too weak or timid or compromised to do that. Well, Nigerians did the very right thing other serious countries would do

Buhari is not asking "imperialists" for free money, he needs their help to fight corruption, he needs their Intel. These "imperialists" do not have to override your sovereignty to help you trace looted funds, infact they have been jailing corrupt people from Nigeria too (Ibori on mind), all they need is your willingness, and that doesn't mean you have to start licking their asses. Many sovereign nations are friendly to the US; Japan, South Korea etc, all they care about is their interest, being a butt licker will depend on whether you know what you're doing or not. If you go asking for free money, that's when you turn to butt licker.

1)Why not read my post again and see if you addressed my points...kindly reduce this your penchant for epistle s...

2)Do you know what's the meaning of foreign policy?...kindly state anyone introduced by nuhari so far...

3)Name any single country who has no political ulterior interest in us that has any issues with Nigeria under Jonathan?... Also show any country that has our bilateral relationship at zero under Jonathan?

4)If buhari knew his on in being on timed term...he won't be gallivanting around...especially with no cabinet to act in his absence...So where the changes you are seeing?

5)Nigeria made giant strides in power, agriculture, economic policies, and bilateral trade relationship under Jonathan and our world corruption rating improved tremendously while transparency came into governance... what difference has buhari who failed in all these in 1984/85 done now...Is there any positive economic policy to his name?

6)What are you blabbing on travel allowance...?... smh...

7)Your rants on NOI and missing money are incoherent& unsubstantiated hence not deserving of my energy...

coolIs Intel which he can sort out from here the most pressing need now?...amidst collapsing economy due to lack of direction and insurgency... what effort has he made at home before rushing to America?...Was it UK that started out Ibori or Abacha case?...

9)If he is not a toy to Obama & co...how come he dropped Ayedele as he was ordered to do because the man told America the home truth as Iyalla did and Gowon backed him up

10)Can you point to any reasonable economic policy for which buhari is known or remembered having ruled us as military whose word was law then...so why should anybody trust him now?

Kindly answer these and my previous questions with less epistle plzzzz

Also I failed to see from where you got your data or facts or do you simply thrive in writing epistle of nonsense

1)Agriculture got its biggest boast under Jonathan... resulting in many agricultural companies coming up...our food import cost reduced drastically... cost of food in market remained relatively same throughout his term unlike now they are skyrocketing...

2)His industrial revolution master plan led to dispensing of unending litigations in Ajeokuta steel company... and various industries springing up and moribund ones coming alive eg auto industries...Pharmaceutical sector got first proactive and concrete attention of government under Jonathan... Nollywood got its first interventionist fund under Jonathan... young entrepreneurs sprang up from youwin... and other such private initiatives of individuals supported by government like TEEN...

So what again is diversification bro

3)If Jonathan did not save... plz what is SWF for?...is it for bazaar or owambe in your house?...

4)Statistics has shown that in 2015 alone...Jonathan created over 500,000 jobs...If you're still unemployed then maybe the challenge is in you and not Jonathan... BTW what's your LGA chairman and governor doing

5)We know those experiencing tsunami abi hurricane currently but your delusion have blinded you from it...

6)I don't need to wait for buhari to see tomorrow... Because all he's doing now is reminiscent of his reign in 1984/85...when out of the 75,000 graduates recorded by NUC only 5000 got employed while 70000 remained unemployed...added to the quantum number of workers he retrenched...He used physical force as economic policy for price control...and got our railway dead...facts are sacred bro...

Also, his policies killed several hundred businesses with others suffering badly with several job losses. Nigeria at that time had to go back to trade by barter just to survive.. grin

gringringringrin Seriously bro...I wonder what miracle these guys are expecting a man who failed woefully at his prime to perform in his old age...Even importers had to look for trade licenses from mostly northerners who had access to same to import goods that soldiers would stand in your shop to tell you how much to sell them irrespective of your cost implication...

BTW he has NEVER shown leadership anywhere...
As minister...Obj and David West took initiatives...
As head of state...Idiagbon called the shots...
As PTF chairman... Salihijo(consultant turned PTF emperor) gave orders...He picked out contracts for himself...initiates same for himself... he awarded contracts to himself...supervised himself...costs himself...through his company APC while buhari sat as figurehead...

Hahahahahahaha by 500,000 jobs I guess you meant INEC ADHOC staff...

So how much was in the SWF? Don't tell me the governor's made him share it 'cos I'll ask you if it was FG's savings or FG/SG joint revenue. So how much did he save? He instead crashed the foreign reserve which topped $62 billion, to $29 billion, even with averaged higher sales during his administration. Nigeria got so broke we had to borrow to pay salaries continuously

Lol @industrial revolution, you couldn't even give OBJ some credit for the pharmaceutical industry revolution, you're trying so hard to steal everyone else's hardwork 'cos GEJ had very little.

Agric? Yeah, give it to GEJ even if it were Yaradua's initiative, we're still like 10% down the lane though, 90% more to go

Is this all you got? I'm sorry, it's not good enough.
