It took me longer than 30 seconds, but the answer is 16 people.

Basically, for each pair of people they shake hands. So if there are N people, there N choose 2 handshakes in total. Solving the equation (using a calculator basically):

N choose 2 = 120

we have N=16.

Correct ans is 5. That is 5x4x3x2x1

It's 5,according to probability, how many ways can 5 peoples shake themselves, that is 5!=120

the answer is 6 just apply the knowledge if permutation. it'll results to (6-1)!=5! 5! = 5*4*3*2*1 = 120

12*11=132, 11*11=120 so the ansr is 11 , no way they can shake 121 hands or did two out of them have half handshakes?
